My better version of the one in my scraps. I mixed things up a little and got this!
The blocky-thingies took me a long while to do so I'm rather proud of them. But since I can't draw straight lines, there were some nifty parts of the background that were cut off because it didn't balance out >>
ANYWAY. It's fanart of
's SWAN [link] which blows my mind every time I read it and this is one of my favorite scenes. And no, they are not in the same bed. It looks like that though, which is probably why my dad was staring at it for so long before he told me it was "okay". I think it freaked him out XD
So the guy on the left is asleep and the guy on the right is trying to stay awake despite his drowsiness and is listening to the same song on repeat about why he shouldn't sleep to kept himself up. He falls asleep singing it and then the other guy starts singing it in his sleep or is hearing it from the room across the hall and GAH I just love that story.

There is such poetry and emotion wrapped up in this piece. The soft flow from one side to the next grabs your eyes and your heartstrings. You can just feel the energy and feeling between the two. Such longing.

The only VNV Nation song I know is Beloved...but it's a personal favorite. Even though the story behind how I came across it is....not pleasant. But it speaks to me. I'll have to check this other song out.
